What can I learn from this?
When something frustrating happens in your life, do you get stuck in feelings of anger or helplessness?
Well, guess what? It’s not only OK to have these emotions sometimes, it’s actually totally normal. (You can stop beating yourself up about it now...)
But after a while if you’re having a hard time moving out of this mental space, it can be helpful to look at the situation a bit more objectively. Ask yourself, “What can I learn from this?”
My friends, this is how we grow. It’s how we mature. And it helps us make better choices in the future for healthier relationships, and a less stressful life.
Asking yourself this question, and then allowing yourself to HONESTLY see what’s coming up is an act of self-love. And it helps deepen and strengthen your relationship with yourself.
What situation makes you keep spiraling around and around the same negative thoughts and emotions? What are you not seeing? What can you learn from it?
