How to free yourself (right now) if you've taken on too much!
Sometimes there’s so much going on in life, that you can’t sort out where to invest your attention. Everything seems to have fallen into a big, messy pile. Can you relate?
I’m going through one of these phases now, where I’ve eagerly overcommitted, excitedly set too many goals and as have spread myself too thin.
As a result, guess how well I’m handling my responsibilities? And how this has impacted my overall health? Not that well, on both accounts.
Thankfully, I caught myself and have created A LOT of breathing room. Let me tell you, it feels great!
I checked in with myself about a) what is REALLY important to me and b) which choices would ultimately lead me to my big-picture goal. I then started cutting out the rest.
I feel so much more energized about my projects, because they’re what I WANT to be doing. I ramped up my self-care, which has kind of slipped as of late. And I’m allowing myself more time to just BE.
Now excuse me as I head to my yoga class!
