How to lovingly pick yourself back up again

We all have those moments of feeling overwhelmed, frustrated and hopeless. Like you haven't been able to significantly move the needle on something you've been putting a lot of energy into.

It feels yucky, but it's so normal and HUMAN.

It can be healthy to let yourself feel the sadness of it. To acknowledge that you're experiencing this. But dear one, try not to wallow in this place for too long.

Let yourself really feel your emotions, perhaps during a meditation or a quiet time. Find the spot in your body where the hurt and heaviness is showing up. Notice these feelings, welcome them and sit with them for a bit.

Then decide to get back into your day. Pick yourself up and do one thing which will take you a step farther down the path you want to be walking on.
