Reconnect, rebalance, remember yourself
Connecting to yourself isn't a one-and-done kind of a thing. It's not something you do once, and then you're set for life. It's something you need to come back to repeatedly.
Think of it like going to the gym. Do you just go one time and then you're fit forever more? Does that one workout make you toned and energized for the rest of your life? No.
It's easy to fall off course. Things happen—LIFE happens. Responsibilities, unexpected events, etc. pull your attention in all different directions. And this is so normal!
When I fall off-track, I can feel scattered and unsure. I fall out of flow and my world feels small. I stop noticing the coincidences in my life. The dots that, when connected, create a path forward for me, are not apparent.
When I notice this happening, I know it's time for a check-in. What's going on? What do I need? How can I fill myself up? How can I rebalance? Meditation, music, reading, walks, the ocean, chats with good friends, journaling, travel. This is what brings me back to myself.
Now what about you? Have you fallen out of touch with yourself? Have you temporarily forgotten who you are and what you want? Do you currently see your options as being very limited? How can you reconnect to the true you?
